Magnetic Field Therapy for Behavioral Health presented by William Pawluk, MD

Friday, March 20, 2026

12:00noon Eastern Time
11:00am Central Time | 9:00am Pacific Time

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 90-minute presentation.

Webinar Description:
This webinar provides an in-depth exploration of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMFs), highlighting their fundamental distinctions and clinical applications. Participants will first receive a comprehensive comparison between EMFs and PEMFs, establishing a foundational understanding crucial for practitioners and researchers. The session will then outline and elucidate the two basic physical laws governing magnetic field therapy, offering insights into the scientific principles underlying therapeutic interventions. A focal point of the webinar is the discussion of the adenosine receptor’s role in addressing neuroinflammation, with particular emphasis on how this molecular target influences the determination of PEMF intensity at varying tissue depths. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge on the mechanisms of action, therapeutic considerations, and the latest research developments in magnetic field-based therapies, equipping them to make informed decisions in both clinical and investigative settings.

Instructor:  William Pawluk, MD, MSc, Pioneer in Magnetic Field Therapy and Holistic Medicine

Dr. William Pawluk, a distinguished physician and researcher, began his medical career after earning his MD from the University of Alberta in 1970. He continued his academic journey by obtaining an MSc from McMaster University in 1976. His commitment to family medicine is evident through his certifications: CAFP in 1974 and ABFP in 1980.

Over the years, Dr. Pawluk held notable university appointments, including positions in Family Medicine at McMaster University (1974), Case Western Reserve University (1976), UMDNJ (1978), Medicine at Johns Hopkins (1987), and the University of Maryland (2004). His leadership extended beyond academia as Vice President of the North American Academy of Magnetic Therapy from 2000 to 2003.

From 2004 to 2023, Dr. Pawluk practiced holistic medicine in Baltimore, providing comprehensive care and integrating innovative therapies. He is highly recognized for his research and publications on Magnetic Field Therapy, authoring numerous book chapters, articles, blogs, ebooks, and videos that have influenced both the scientific community and the public.

Dr. Pawluk contributed to groundbreaking research, including studies on PEMFs (Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields) for pain management in rheumatoid arthritis at the University of Virginia and concussion treatment at the University of North Carolina. He has published influential books such as "Magnetic Therapy in Eastern Europe: A Review of 30 Years of Research," "Power Tools for Health," and "Supercharge Your Health with PEMFs."

In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Pawluk co-hosted the radio show “Your Prescription for Health” for ten years, sharing his expertise with a wider audience. He also served as a summit host for events like the Pain Solution Summit and Healing with PEMFs from 2020 onwards, fostering collaboration and education within the medical community.
